On Wednesday, October 31, 2007 the Bonn ice skating season was opened. The popular large roofed skating rink (1000m2) at Friedrich-Ebert-Allee, between Bundeskunsthalle and Kunstmuseum, is open seven days a week. It opens at 10 a.m. every day and is open until 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday even until 10 p.m. (special opening hours at Christmas and New Year). Skating, however, is not longer free of charge. The admission prices are 2 Euro for 2 hours (children less than 12 years old pay 1 Euro). The season will end on January 6, 2008.
